Forever Braids

I am still absolutely in love with braids! It's like they're never out of fashion. They offer that vintage, bohemian, classy look and they can always fix a bad-hair day! I wish I could know how to braid my hair in different styles, but hopefully in time, I'll manage to do it.

Some of the most popular styles are: side tail, fishtail, French, boho, waterfall, Dutch, 4 stand and 5 stand.
So, be thankful for your hair, no matter what colour, length, thickness it is and treat yourself with a nice hair-braided-style.

Fashion - Fall Inspiration

It's mostly raining in Cardiff so, it's seems pretty difficult to find something proper to dress for this weather. Here are a few inspiring looks that I found and I really like. I'm not obsessed with fashion or something. I usually like vintage-retro inspired pieces, so if I find something that I like, I buy it, no matter what fashion trend is!

These looks are inspired by the Asos, Urban Outfitters, Ruche, Anthropologie and street fashion! I like the strong colours which create a visual effect - especially yellow and turquoise.

Also, a great fashion inspiration comes from worldwide bloggers. I just discovered Lady Moriarty and Pauline.

Flickr Friday

I wanted to create a weekly post and I think Flickr Friday will do it! It makes sense - I spend a lot of time discovering new young photographers on Flickr and on Tumblr so everyday I fall in love with brand new photographs! New ideas, new visions, new perspectives, new beauties.
One of the themes I adore is purity - long haired girls wearing white dresses and floral crowns, blue skies and pure green nature.

…and at once I knew I was not magnificent

The Owlery

The Owlery is a room on the top of Hogwarts Castle's West Tower, where the school owls and the owls belonging to students live during the school year. I really love this word because it compresses the cuteness of all owls in just one place. Many people fear them (oclophobia), but I adore them! I find them mysterious, beautiful, hilarious, intelligent and cute at the same time. Maybe they look a little beet scary.. but still, look at them!

I don't know why, but I considered myself an owl for as long as I remember. This is probably because I'm very sleepy during the day and I find myself very active and perspicacious in the night time. Also, they are kinda solitary and a little bit proud. I don't think I ever saw an owl in the middle of the woods - I only had the opportunity to hear them hooting. I hope I will get the chance to see an owl in "real life" (wildlife).

Being human is exhausting, so I'll be an owl!

Getting Ready for Autumn

We are counting the days until the end of the summer. Astronomically, Fall begins around September 23 (the autumnal equinox) so as long as it's still warm outside, we can't feel that autumn's breeze, but we can fantasize about what we will wear this season. I'm still in love with turquoise - I think this color can brighten up the rainy days! So don't forget your umbrella and something that gives you confidence and enjoy this wonderful time!

Blissful music - Angus and Julia Stone

Angus and Julia Stone are brother/sister duo from Australia. Their music is very relaxing and flawless. Their songs are the softest and they are very inspiring. Together, Angus and Julia play all kinds of instruments like: guitar, harmonica, trumpet, cello, drums, mandolin.

All their albums have that sweet acoustic tune with soothing vocals and warm marching guitar strums. I think their music is perfect for rainy days, road-mixes, contemplating, reading, walking on the street. So I recommend you this mellow-acoustic-indie-folk band. ( I also like their looks!)
The first song I discovered is "And the Boys", which is still one of my favorites because there is a meaningful truth behind that title.

I have a music "blog". You can follow me on blissfulmusic.

Asos's United Heritage Trend is an absolutely amazing F/W collection. I love the colors, the style and the vintage inspiration. Heritage fabrics are back in fashion! Cold tones, soft fabrics, clean design and retro accents! The accessories are also an important piece of the entire look. Leather bags and shoes plus the vintage jewelry  transform this season into a wonderful autumn time.

By the way, this is my first post here!
